Terms of use.
Informational tools only. Home Repairs Estimator provides general-purpose cost estimation tools for educational and planning purposes. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, medical, insurance, or professional advice of any kind. Do not rely on estimates for any binding decision, contract, insurance application, or legal proceeding.
No warranty on estimates. All calculator outputs are planning-range estimates derived from national averages and statistical models. They are not quotes, appraisals, or guarantees. Actual costs will vary based on local labor markets, materials, site conditions, code requirements, and individual provider pricing. Home Repairs Estimator makes no representation that any estimate is accurate, complete, or current.
External providers. Provider links connect to independent third-party businesses over which Home Repairs Estimator has no control. Home Repairs Estimator does not endorse, vet, or warrant any provider. Any transaction you enter into with a provider is solely between you and that provider.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Home Repairs Estimator and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or reliance on any estimate, including without limitation damages for lost profits, property damage, personal injury, or any other loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Your sole remedy is to stop using the site.
Arbitration and class action waiver. Any dispute arising from your use of this site shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration under JAMS rules, conducted remotely or at a location designated by JAMS. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. This arbitration clause does not apply to claims that may be brought in small claims court. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction in the state and federal courts of Wyoming for any dispute not subject to arbitration.
Changes. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
